Relay For Life is an incredible overnight event - an opportunity for family, friends and colleagues to get together with the community and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer and fight back against cancer.
It is a unique event where teams of 10 to 15 challenge themselves to take turns to keep a baton moving in a relay style walk or run overnight. Each event is unique and you can stay for the whole event, camp overnight, or just visit and enjoy the free entertainment, prizes and ceremonies that make Relay For Life so inspirational.
Each person on the team pays a registration fee which includes a polo shirt and breakfast at the event. Participants are supported in their fundraising efforts in the lead up to the event.
There are no age limitations or fitness requirements – Relay For Life is suitable for everyone and anyone can join in the fun! Register to participate in your local Relay For Life now.

The local volunteer committee invites you to fight back against cancer in your community by being part of the Mornington Peninsula Relay For Life!!
How you can get involved:
Enter a Team – Register online today or phone our Supporter’s Hotline 1300 65 65 85 - it costs only $20 to enter. Once registered you will receive your Relay For Life polo shirt and all Team Captains will also receive a kit that includes all the information you will need to kick-start your fundraising and recruit others to your team while planning for 18 hours of fun.
Join an Existing Team – For only $20 dollars you can register to join a friend, family member or colleague’s team. Once you have registered you will receive your Relay For Life polo shirt and can collect resources to help you fundraise from your Team Captain or via our Supporter’s Hotline 1300 65 65 85.
Become a Volunteer - Helping out on the day, there is always a lot to be done! Many hand make light work! If you are interested, please contact us by phone or email (details below).
Join the Committee – Supported by Cancer Council Victoria, the volunteer organizing committee is made up of local residents and they are always looking for other enthusiastic locals to join the committee and assist with planning the event. Volunteer Your Services at the Event – If you are a member of a band or similar act, or can run a family-friendly activity on the day we would love to hear from you. You would be supporting a fabulous cause and bringing smiles the faces of our many participants as they walk the track. It is also a great way to promote your group/activity in the local community!! Make a donation – You can donate to a team, a team member or to the Mornington Peninsula Relay For Life event. This can be done online or over the phone, 1300 65 65 85. Or if you know someone that has an existing team you can donate directly to them and they can issue you with a receipt for all donations over $2.
